I’m Stan Cho, your Ontario PC Party candidate for Willowdale. I work and live in Willowdale, and I’m proud to be a member of one of our province’s most diverse communities. In life, we don’t get to choose where we’re born or grow up; our parents do that. And I’m extremely thankful that when my parents left Korea they chose to call Toronto home. They came to this city because it offered them more than a promise of opportunity: it delivered on that promise. I grew up watching them work long hours to provide me and my siblings with a better life. And they did. They, like so many other Ontarians, proved that hard-working people can get ahead.
For the past fifteen years, I’ve watched the province I love change. I see too many Ontarians struggling to get by. I see the late nights and early mornings; the seven-day weeks; and that same determination. That drive for a better life and stronger community that was passed down to me by my parents. What I don’t see are the same opportunities. Life is simply harder under the Liberal Government.
I’m going to work as hard as you do every day to make sure that Ontario is a place that offers more than a promise of opportunity. It’s going to be a place where we deliver on that promise. A place where opportunities will be available to those who want a better life for themselves and their families. The kind of place my parents decided to move to. The kind of place your kids will thank you for calling home.
I’m Stan Cho and together with your help we can make life in Ontario better.
